Storage under cockpit floor in 260 Stinger?

Hi, I have an 88 Stinger. Wondering if anybody knows if there is any space under the cockpit floor I could use for storage? I know the fuel tank is under there but not sure how wide it stretches across? The floor is fibreglass and although its screwed down I cannot remove to check without taking seats out which is a major. Any advice would be great. Thanks Andrew

I've got my 260 stinger apart right now and there is 1 1/4" under the floor panel.the only place you could possibly have room for storage would be the area under the bolster seats (port and starboard). It would be about 10" wide by 60" lg and 12" deep on both sides.
