Title: hidden hull number?

From what I understand, the hull number must be stamped into the boat in two locations - one on the transom and one hidden someplace, usually under a fitting.  Does anybody happen to know where the hidden spot is for a Stinger?  Asking because there is a boat without a hull number on the transom, and wanted to see if the hidden number is still on the boat.

My 1986 260 stinger has a second HIN# at the base of windshield on starbord side inside. infront of helm.
