Title: Alpha ss

Did any Stingers come from the factory with the Alpha SS as an option? If so what gear ratio and prop did they run? I have an RH Alpha SS with the 1.86 ratio and feel I need to be running a 19 pitch 14.5" dia prop. Currently running a stock 454 gen 1 330hp thru a standard Alpha 1 1.5 gear ratio 21pitch prop.
Any help is appreciated.

The 19 x 14.5 sounds good and propper for that application.
What you have to take into consideration is rpm.
What are you turning with the 19 compared to the 21?

I ran a 23 tri blade on my 260 as I found that gave me the best top end. I had a 19 but top end suffered however it jumped out of the water very fast and great for skiing! (if I water skiied?)

My 390X runs four blade SS 19's and it tooka while to get the right configuration.
See if you can borrow a prop off a buddy witha a similar boat or some dealer might have used ones to try out?
