I had water come up under rub rail, noticed a few screws had backed out. also a few hull to deck screws were loose. I want to seal screws and any gaps at the deck/hull before tightening it back together. What sealant should I use? I've been told 5200 is to ridged for a long"go fast "hull and to use 4200.

Yes the 4200 is a bit more flexible.
When you apply the sealant put 2 strips of 2" masking tape on the area and apply carefully. Place seasant on are to cover and squeeze in with a squeegee or your finger. Pull tape off at right angles carefully and this will leave a small 1/4 inch bead (if you applied tape carefully) with nice edges and you won't have a big blob there on the seam.

Thanks for the help. I'll try that as soon as it warms up around here.....I'm hoping soon.
